We are excited to bring Artrepreneur back to Simcoe County, this time in the Heart of Georgian Bay. To service all artists in the area, sessions will be run in different locations throughout the program. Please review the curriculum link above to see when and where the sessions will be running.

Artrepreneur is comprised of weekly seminars, workshops, assignments and a final presentation and expo over a period of four months. It primarily serves artists, arts groups and arts businesses working in all artistic disciplines such as, though not limited to visual arts, dance, theatre, film, music, digital media, jewellery, fashion, and more. Our curriculum is blended with in-class working sessions, peer-to-peer learning, a one-on-one session in preparation for your final presentation and expo, and opportunities for group learning and discussion.

By the end of the program, fellows will have a business model canvas and a business plan, allowing you to take your business to the next level. Participants also have the opportunity to present their work in front of art industry leaders at the final expo. The expo is for program fellows to present their business with other artists and industry leaders in a public setting. It will also involve a graduation ceremony and showcase of work from each fellow. Upon successful completion, fellows will also be awarded a certificate endorsed by all program partners.

We bring in speakers from a variety of different backgrounds to give you a wholesome experience and various industry contacts. Please see the curriculum to learn about the speakers.
