ARTREPRENEUR HALTON HILLS – Cohort 3 – Program Guidelines

Program Outline:
Program Dates: March 23, 2022 – May 25, 2022
Time: 6 to 8 PM
Location: Virtual
Cost: We are very pleased to be able to offer this professional development program to the arts & culture community in Halton Hills for FREE; a $100 deposit is required from participants at the time of enrollment and will be returned upon successful completion of all sessions.

Program Information:
In the Fall of 2020, the Town of Halton Hills launched the first cohort of Artrepreneur; creative entrepreneurs from Halton Hills received training from experts in business, arts marketing, and cultural programming. Building on the success of the first two cohorts, we are excited to bring Artrepreneur back to the Town of Halton Hills for another year!

Feedback from previous Halton Hills Fellows:

“I can not believe how much I have achieved in just a couple of weeks under the guidance of Artrepreneur. There are a lot of projects underway in my office.”

“[My favourite part was] the step by step approach to big concepts. I actually want to create a business model and plan now. It took the intimidation away from the task.”

“Loving the use of the breakout room. Working in the smaller groups allows participants to feel like they are actually participating, not just sitting and watching.”

Overview:
Artrepreneur is a 10-week creative entrepreneurship program comprised of weekly sessions. It primarily serves artists, creative entrepreneurs and cultural professionals representing arts and cultural groups, organizations and businesses working in all creative disciplines such as, though not limited to: visual arts, dance, theatre, film, music, jewellery, and fashion. By the end of the program, fellows will have learned the skills to complete a business model canvas and a business plan.
